Massage Therapy

+ move well   + live well    + feel well

If you have ever had a massage or chiropractic care, you probably know just how good both can make you feel. Both practices can relieve tension, help combat stress, and more. Can you imagine having the two together? You can experience the benefits of these combined treatments in one location when you choose Schofield Chiropractic Group. While not affiliated with our center, we do offer an adjoining massage therapy clinic, Myo.

What’s the Difference Between Chiropractic Massage and Traditional Massage?

If you’ve had a traditional massage before, you probably have a picture of calming scents, soothing music, candles, and oil. All of these elements are wonderful and are used specifically to help you relax while the massage therapist eases your muscle tension.

Chiropractic care is a bit different. You will likely feel more relaxed after a massage, though that’s not the main goal of chiropractic care. Instead, our doctors may utilize soft tissue treatment such as Graston or trigger point work to treat pain and dysfunction in the musculoskeletal system.
